- Manage relationships with private foundations
- Strategic planning related to identifying foundations for possible funding
- Provide weekly RFP email to college and unit development officers
- Conduct custom prospect research for faculty
- Work with faculty to plan foundation visits and advise on communication with foundations
- Advise on LOI/proposal requirements
- Provide guidance about the foundation or application process
- Coordinate, assist and participate in meetings with program officers
- Proposal development related to reviewing and providing feedback on application materials
- Coordinate grant agreement signature process
- Coordinate acknowledgment letters to foundation contacts
- Send reminders for narrative and financial reports to primary faculty 4-6 weeks prior to due date
- Communicate with foundations regarding shifts in projects or budgets
